Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book a bouncy castle at short notice?

Yes, we do accept bookings at short notice, even the same day, if we have availability. At times we do get very busy, so booking in advance is advisable to avoid disappointment.

What time do the castles get delivered and collected?

We usually try to deliver between 9 and 10 in the morning and collect between 5 and 6 in the afternoon. It is sometimes necessary for clients to be flexible with delivery and collection but we will always try to accommodate your arrangements.

Can we keep the bouncy castle later than 6 p.m?

Yes, for a charge of £10 you can extend the time the castle is collected. We do always require light to put down the castles , so we need to check sunset times to determine what time we need to collect on the individual day.

How about if the weather is wet?

All the castles come with sewn in shower covers, but if the rain is really heavy then we do have tarpaulins that create a huge tent.

These tarpaulins can be attached to your house to create a dry walkway onto the castle, they keep out 95% of torrential rain and allows an outdoor party to still be enjoyed, even in really bad weather (tarpaulins are charged as an extra £10 for the children’s party bouncers and £20 for the slide and bounce and adult supadome).

Do you require any deposit paid in advance?

No, we only require payment on delivery of your bouncy castle.

Can we have a bouncy castle indoors?

Yes, our bouncy castles are designed to be used indoors as well as outdoors. Check out our local halls information page, with contact phone numbers.

We make good use of village halls in the area. The height of the castles is about 3.3 metres or 11ft, so these measurements need to be taken into consideration.

How near do I need to be to an electricity supply?

Our extension leads are 25m long (we can put two together, giving a maximum of 50m, if required)

How much space is needed for each castle overall?

Child bouncer 11’ x 15’ – plus mat, blower and anchorage – 13’ x 20’ total

Slide & bounce 12’ x 18’ – plus mat, blower and anchorage – 14’ x 23’ total

Adult supadomes 14’ x 19’ – plus mat, blower and anchorage – 16’ x 24’ total

N.B. All the castles are about 3.3m (11foot) tall

What type of surface is needed for the castles?

The castles can be on any hard flat surface with sandbags as anchorage or, if on grass, using stakes

How much do the castles cost?

Prices start at £45 for the child party bouncer, £65 for the slide and bounce and £85 for the adult castle. There may be delivery charge added to these prices, depending on distance for delivery from Kirkbymoorside.

Are there any height restrictions?

Castle manufacturers recommendations are:

Child party bouncer 1.3m (c. 10 -12 years old)

Slide and bounce 1.5m (c. 12 – 15 years old)

Adult – no restrictions on height.

Do you supply extras with the castles?

Yes, we can supply a wide variety of craft ideas to suit your party. We can also do face painting and temporary tattoos.

Are your castles insured?

Yes, we have £5 million Public Liability Insurance on all our castles, along with RPII (Register of Play Inspectors International) Safety Certificates – a bit like an MOT for castles, plus PAT testing on all blowers and extension leads.

What access do I need for delivery of the castles?

Any gates should be 0.9 metres (3 foot) wide, and preferably no steps, along with a flat even surface to take the castle on a trolley.
